Mould clamping technology

Witte Weiguss: Clamping thin-walled and filigree workpieces

Secure clamping of complex and thin-walled workpieces. Witte Weiguss is a low-melting metal alloy that encloses the workpiece and shrink-fixes it. This allows almost any kind of mechanical machining.

After machining, the finished workpiece is put in hot water which melts the alloy and releases the part. At the same time, Weiguss does not mix with the water or reduce its mass. Weiguss solidifies on cooling, so that the mold material can be melted down and reused as often as desired.

Applications

  • milling
  • drilling
  • grinding
