As a supplier to precision-focused industries, Witte Barskamp has a complete and extensive system for quality monitoring. It is characterized by a large number of defined processes and certifications.
The official certification according to DIN ISO 9001 as well as EN 9100, a special standard for the aerospace industry, is in place. QSF-A, the quality assurance requirements of the Federal Association of the German Aviation and Space Industry e. V. are also fulfilled.
The quality control area for subcontract machining parts at the company's headquarters in Bleckede in northern Germany is fully equipped to the highest quality standards. Here, Witte primarily carries out measuring and documentation of customer-specific components for the aerospace industry.
In addition to conventional milling and turning machines, there are over 40 CNC machining centers with working areas of up to 12 x 2.5 meters. Also, some medium and large size machines are equipped with own in-house developed vacuum clamping systems. There are three climate-controlled measuring rooms with first-class measuring machine equipment with a measuring volume of up to 6,000 x 2,000 x 2,000 millimeters.
In the past 50 years, Witte has acquired over 250 patents, registered designs and trademarks, 70 of which are still valid today - proof of the family-run German medium-sized company’s unbroken enthusiasm for innovation since it was founded.
